Principal Purpose of the Position
Manages the design, training, communication and continuous improvement of SMVCL’s Sales Distribution Strategy to ensure alignment with customer/consumer needs and market environment:
- Systems design and installation
- Training curriculum and people development
Primary Functions
Manages the development, review and continuous update of SMVCL’s Sales Distribution System to include both direct and indirect system to ensure that all processes and activities are consistent with approved corporate strategy/direction.
Manages the design, installation and monitoring of all training and people development programs through trainers-training approach to equip all direct and indirect selling positions to effectively discharge their respective functions/tasks. In addition, to ensure systematic monitoring of competency levels of all incumbents and training needs.
Manages the design and installation of a configuration process (criteria and procedures) to establish the appropriate service for territory and configuration of an area, territory, or district including the definition of dealership system to ensure appropriate service areas, accountabilities for all selling positions consistent with SMVCL’s distributions strategy.
Manages the design, installation (particularly pilot-testing) of all selling sub-processes such as Payment Upon Order, hand-held presell ordering process, Efficient Consumer Response, among others to ensure that all support systems and tools are fully functional as necessary components of the selling system.
Work closely with other functional units in the design and installation of their components in the selling system to ensure alignment, synergy and optimum resources utilization.
Plans and prepares the budget for Selling Systems and Training.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Education: Bachelor's/ University degree in business, sales or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management
- Industry Experience: Experience working in the FMCG industry
- Training Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Training / Learning & Development, preferably with hands-on experience delivering training programs for Sales Force
- Sales Training: Ability to design and deliver Sales Training programs, including Sales Skills, Product Knowledge, Selling Skills, and Field Coaching
- Soft Skills Training: Ability to design and deliver Soft Skills training programs for the entire organization, not limited to Sales
- Cross-functional Training: Ability to deliver training for Sales and other functions such as Finance, HR, Marketing, Supply Chain, RA, etc.
- Training Needs Analysis: Ability to identify Training Needs and translate business and people development needs into effective training programs
- Training Design: Ability to develop training materials, training modules, exercises, case studies, and learning activities
- Presentation: Strong PowerPoint and Business Presentation skills, with confidence in presenting to large groups
- Facilitation: Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to conduct training sessions, facilitate discussions, workshops, and group activities
- English: Good English communication skills, with strong ability to read and translate English–Vietnamese / Vietnamese–English
- Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, with good listening and message delivery abilities
- People Development: Strong coaching, feedback, mentoring, and employee capability development mindset
- Personality: Friendly, open-minded, and professional, with the ability to build trust with employees across different groups
- Adaptability: Highly adaptable to different audiences, functions, and working environments
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to work effectively with the Management Team, Sales Leaders, HR, and Functional Heads
- Business Mindset: Understands that training should drive capability improvement and business impact, rather than simply achieving the number of training programs delivered
- Mobility: Willingness to travel/visit the market when required to deliver Sales Training and Field Coaching
