To develop and execute comprehensive 360-degree marketing strategies for Sports D&L, encompassing both ATL (Above the Line) and BTL (Below the Line) activities, to drive brand performance and awareness in the Vietnam market.
Primary liaison with the principal marketing team to adapt global strategies to the local market.
Areas of Responsibility
1. Sports D&L Strategy and Planning:
Develop long-term brand strategies and an annual marketing calendar that supports the brand across all channels, with a focus on digital and brand building.
Analyze competitive activities and customer-centric behavior to adapt to market changes and counter competitive challenges.
2. Marketing Execution and Budget Management:
Plan and execute marketing initiatives, including advertising, media, PR, and promotions.
Monitor and control advertising and promotion budgets to ensure effective utilization, with monthly and annual reporting to the finance department.
3. Team and Agency Management:
Manage the marketing team to achieve high performance, while liaising with agencies to enhance marketing outcomes in terms of awareness and sales growth across campaigns.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination:
Collaborate with other departments, such as merchandising, operations, and online teams, to align monthly planning, sales targets, channel activities, and promotions.
5. Partnership and Negotiation:
Negotiate with landlords and partners to secure media and activity locations that meet marketing objectives and ensure successful campaign execution.
6. Running/ Sport Community Building:
Build and nurture a running/sport community to engage with the brand, increase brand loyalty, and create a strong customer base.
7. Process Management:
Oversee internal marketing processes and approvals to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 5-10 years of relevant working experiences in Retail / Fashion / Cosmetics marketing preferably
Good track record and solid experience in building successful brands
Market Insight: deep understanding of Vietnamese market, consumer behaviour, and industry trends is crucial for informed decision-making and identifying growth opportunities.
Creativity and Innovation: develop standout marketing strategies and campaigns in a competitive market through creativity.
Stay updated on latest trends, have network with influencers and media is a plus
Strong ability to manage budgets, campaigns, and cross-functional teams.
Communication: Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in English
