Mô tả Công việc
A. PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Own end-to-end sourcing and supplier management for mechanical parts to ensure cost competitiveness, quality, capacity, and on-time delivery to support NPI and mass production. Drive RFQ, negotiation, supplier development, and risk mitigation in alignment with Spartronics policies and customer requirements
B. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Category Strategy & Cost Competitiveness
- Lead RFQ/RFP events and run commercial + technical evaluations (price, tooling, lead time, capacity, risk, quality systems).
- Build clean cost models (material, process, finishing, overhead, freight) and identify cost-down opportunities.
2. Supplier Management & Performance
- Own supplier selection, onboarding, and performance tracking (OTD, quality PPM, responsiveness, cost competitiveness).
- Manage supplier escalations: delivery recovery plans, capacity constraints, and quality containment.
3. NPI / Engineering Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering/Quality/Manufacturing on supplier technical alignment, PPAP/FAI readiness, and change control (ECN/Rev management).
- Support sample builds and pilot runs: timeline tracking, issue closure, lessons learned.
4. Commercial & Contract
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, Incoterms, MOQ/MPQ, and liability terms (NCNR, tooling ownership, safety stock).
- Maintain sourcing documentation: RFQ summary, supplier recommendation, award justification, and price files.
5. Systems & Data Discipline
- Maintain supplier master data, supplier audit, certification, in D365 (or ERP) with strong data discipline.
- Ensure compliance to customer, regulatory, and ethical sourcing requirements.
6. Scope: Category leader/ strategic owner
- Own strategy for major spend: consolidation/segmentation, long-term agreements, supplier development roadmap, and executive escalations.
- Lead supplier capability audits, localization strategy, and new supplier introduction for risk/cost optimization.
- Mentor team members; standardize sourcing processes and governance.
- Success indicators: sustained cost reduction, resilient supply base, successful NPIs at scale, improved contract coverage and supplier performance.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience:
- Knowledge of tooling (mold/die) lifecycle, amortization, and ownership terms.
- Ability to read drawings/BOMs; Knowledge of common finishes (anodize, plating, powder coat, painting, texture).
- Understanding of quality documents: FAI, PPAP (as applicable), control plan, material certs/CoC.
3. Others:
- Ability to read mechanical drawings (2D), BOMs, electronics component, understand about market trend.
- Strong Excel; ERP experience (D365 preferred); cost breakdown analysis capability.
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and supplier relationship skills
