POSITION PURPOSE
To play a fundamental role in successfully running all Discova tours. As a part of Touring Team, Touring Executive is responsible to ensure that all field staff and partners directly involved within a booking execute the operational standards and requirements that will drive the customer satisfaction and productivity. This will involve the delivery of best-in-class service and memorable local experiences for the customer. Operationally, the role will be responsible for assigning guides, reconfirming reservations, handling operational issues, and continually providing feedback to management on risks and improvements of the ways we operate our products. You have an ardent desire for structure, high organizational skills and love working according to procedures and schedules. You thrive on being meticulous and methodical.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Guide Assignment and Tour Preparation
- Assign and manage guides, ensuring tour operations, transfers, and third-party services run smoothly according to SOPs.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams and suppliers, maintaining accurate system updates and responsive communication for a seamless guest experience.
- Conduct guide briefings/debriefings, apply One-Best-Ways (OBWs), and support continuous service improvement across operations.
- Customer Service Experience
- Ensure itinerary accuracy, provide 24/7 on-ground support, and resolve customer issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Business Acumen
- Manage guide payments and cash advances, ensure accurate costing and pricing in the system, and monitor tour budgets, gross margin, and overall trip profitability.
- Self-Development
- Actively participate in relevant training, maintain up-to-date product knowledge of Discova offerings, and proactively discuss business improvements and efficiencies with your leader.
- Previous experience in tourism or DMC an advantage
- Degree in tourism and hospitality is an advantage
- Fluent in national local language and intermediate to advanced level of written and spoken English

Tuy nhiên, cơ hội việc làm chất lượng cao còn hạn chế do ít khu công nghiệp và doanh nghiệp lớn. Bắc Kạn phù hợp cho người muốn làm việc ổn định, gắn bó lâu dài tại địa phương hoặc trong lĩnh vực nông – lâm nghiệp và du lịch.
