Mô tả công việc

To oversee the smooth running of the recreations department on a day to day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.
To create new, unique and interesting recreation activities that draw upon the best cultural, sporting or other offerings of the area in which the hotel is located.
To continually be positioning the recreation and leisure offering as a differentiator and a point of competitive advantage for the hotel.
To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel.
To lead the implementation of all health and safety codes in the recreation and leisure activities of the hotel, and in particular to take full and complete care of children.
Take the lead on the RHG’s Children program.
To ensure that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.
To train and assist in the evaluation of attendants who work with fitness programs.
To supervise instructors and all other team members helping with any activities or functions arranged via the Sports & Recreations.
To monitor the success of the activity’s programs through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests’ feedback. Make necessary adjustments to maintain top quality, fun filled and original programs for hotel guests.
To prepare and circulate clear information to guests of the events offered by the hotel in conjunction with the hotels Concierge.
To ensure proper accounting procedures are followed when collecting of charging fees for sports & recreations.
To be prepared to assume other recreations duties or responsibilities as requested by management.
To drive revenues of the department through upselling and cross selling.

Provide employees with the training and resources they need to maximize employee engagement and deliver Yes I Can! service and teamwork.

Gives personal attention, takes personal responsibility and uses teamwork when providing guest service.
Listens, apologizes with empathy, finds a solution and follows through when resolving guest problems.
Provides Yes I Can! genuine hospitality and teamwork on an ongoing basis.
Assumes the responsibility to notice when the guest is not satisfied and uses their best judgment as to when it is appropriate to use the 100% Guest Satisfaction
Performs other duties required to provide the service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.

Adhere to hotel policies and procedures:

Keeps immediate Supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
Communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and the manager.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Maintain a favourable working relationship with all other hotel employees to foster and promote a co-operative and harmonious working environment.
At all times projects a favourable image of the Hotel to the public.
Assist in the development of the Hotel business plan and ensure an overall understanding of its departmental goals and objectives.
Attends work on time as scheduled.
Follows safety and security rules and procedures

Yêu cầu công việc

3 years’ experience in a recreation or related field preferred.
2-year supervisory experience preferred.
CPR certification and safety oriented first aid preferred.
High work ethic, self-initiative, independent judgment.
Proven customer service and problem-solving experience.
May be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs.
