• Be responsible for the overseeing of all painting of Hotel facilities.
• Reports to work at the scheduled time, well groomed and in the correct uniform.
• Trains painting staff as required and in accordance with Hotel guidelines.
• Reviews the performance of painting staff in accordance with Resort guidelines.
• Assists with and oversee the cleaning, preparation and painting of surfaces as required.
• Responds to maintenance requests from HODs, as requested by the GM.
• Conducts office ,building maintenance in accordance with the preventative maintenance program.
• Ensures all workshop and working areas are kept clean, tidy and safe
• Assists with and oversee the finishing and repair of drywall.
• Maintains an inventory and par stock of paints and materials used regularly.
• Ensures all paint and other materials are labeled and stored accurately and in accordance with fire and safety regulations.
• Implements other duties as required and directed by the Chief  Engineer

• Good communication and writing skills
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities
• Secondary vocational, college education degree or equivalent
• 3 years of engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
