Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled individual to join our team at Diag, one of the leading medical laboratories in Vietnam, as the Legal and Compliance Manager. The job holder will be responsible for implementation of corporate legal, investment and compliance activities within the organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring that Diag’s operates in accordance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.

Responsibilities:

- Implement legal and compliance programs to ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

- Provide legal advice and guidance to the management team and other departments on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate legal and investment, contracts, intellectual property rights, and regulatory compliance relating to business activities of the company and its subsidiaries/branches in Vietnam.

- Monitor investment and corporate legal matters, including drafting, execution and registration of various legal documents relating to M&A and restructuring, including contracts, application dossiers, charter, and other corporate documents.

- Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary, ensuring effective management of legal matters and representation of the organization's interests.

- Implement necessary assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

- Deliver training programs on legal and compliance matters to employees, ensuring understanding and adherence to policies and procedures.

- Implement investigations into any potential legal or compliance violations, ensuring appropriate actions are taken and necessary reporting is conducted.

- Ensure leveraging support from team members of legal and compliance professionals to provide adequate support, and to ensure the successful implementation of legal and compliance initiatives.
