The Receivable cum Tax Accountant is responsible for overseeing accounts receivable operations and ensuring full compliance with Vietnamese tax regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise in managing the organization’s accounts receivable function while ensuring accurate tax computation, compliance, and timely statutory fillings. This role combines strong financial control over receivables with hands-on tax accounting and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable (AR)
· Oversee end-to-end receivable processes, including e-invoicing, posting, collections, and reconciliation.
· Issue VAT e-invoice in compliance with Vietnamese regulation.
· Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of advance payment and outstanding balances.
· Monitor AR aging, analyze overdue balances, and lead collection strategy.
· Coordinate with sales and customers to resolve billing and payment issues.
· Reconcile accounts for the receivable ledger with the general ledger.
· Handle customer queries related to invoices, payments, and account discrepancies.
· Prepare AR analysis and cash flow forecast for management.
· Review AR reconciliation and ensure accuracy of AR balance.
· Daily issuing e-invoices, debit notes, credit notes to customers, bank statements, enter cash receipt.
· Obtain and email invoice copies to customers based on request.
· Control customer’s arrears about credit limit and overdue amount. Ensure compliance with Group’s policies and procedures.
· Issue the Payment Notice, Warming Notice and Invoices to customers.
· Ensure all the stock movement are supported by proper document according to Tax law.
· Monthly stock take, report inventory.
· Follow up import goods, check import tax and VAT import tax.
· Monitor sale discount.
· Other duties as assigned by Head of Finance and Admin.
Tax Accounting & Compliance
· Lead preparation and review of monthly / quarterly / yearly tax filings, including VAT, import tax, CIT, WHT, DTA.
· Ensure compliance with local tax laws and statutory requirements.
· Ensure correct tax treatment for revenue, receivables, and related transactions.
· Manage tax risk and ensure compliance with Vietnamese tax laws and regulations.
· Prepare tax schedule, reconciliations, and supporting documents for audits.
· Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and authorities when required.
· Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the business.
· Act as key contact point for tax authorities during tax inspections and audits.
· Review tax calculations, declarations, and supporting documentation.
General Accounting Support
· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
· Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
· Support internal and external audits.
· Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· 2– 5 years of relevant experience in account receivable and tax accounting.
· Hand-on experience of accounting software, SAP B1 software, Thaison invoice software.
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Skill & Competencies
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail
· Good knowledge of MS. Excel and accounting software
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Advance knowledge of VAT, import tax, CIT, PIT, FCT, DTA
