Mô tả Công việc
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for packaging materials supporting pharmaceutical production. This role ensures the timely, cost-effective, and compliant supply of packaging materials while maintaining supplier performance, supporting packaging development activities, and minimizing supply risks.
- Manage the procurement of packaging materials for production, including: Paper packaging materials (Boxes, Labels, Inserts, Catch Covers, etc.) and Non-paper packaging materials (Bottles, Caps, Foils, PVC, Measuring Cups, Carton Boxes, etc.)
- Handle the full procurement cycle, including: Demand planning and purchasing for production requirements; Supplier sourcing and quotation evaluation; Price negotiation and contract management; Purchase Order (PO) creation and management in SAP; Delivery follow-up and shipment coordination; Payment documentation and record maintenance.
- Monitor supply risks and proactively resolve supply issues to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Maintain procurement records, shipping documentation, purchase orders, and supporting documents in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with Accounting Department to ensure timely and accurate payment processing.
- Request and manage supplier documentation required by Quality Assurance (QA) and regulatory requirements.
- Handle material rejection and supplier claim processes, including return/disposal procedures, supplier follow-up, and payment adjustments.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure quality, cost, and service objectives are achieved.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop alternative suppliers to strengthen supply continuity and mitigate sourcing risks.
- Support packaging artwork (AW) and specification development activities by: Coordinating new packaging designs and specification updates with QA and suppliers; Managing artwork revision processes; Following up on print proofs, color proofs, and approval records; Coordinating trial orders for newly developed packaging materials.
- Maintain and update packaging material master data, including manufacturers, vendors, and material codes in SAP.
- Support budget preparation, supplier evaluations, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Arrange, maintain, and improve procurement SOPs and related procedures.
- Support regional sourcing projects and provide procurement-related data when required.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Procurement Senior Manager.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in packaging materials procurement, manufacturing, FMCG, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and collaborative.
