* General purpose of the position:
- Be the Translator and Interpreter (Contract for Service) between FVH Staff and Chinese patients for any matter (admissions, consultations, insurance, etc…)
* Assist Chinese patient during their visit to FV
- Welcome and guide new Japanese patient
- Help them fill the registration form
- Assist Chinese patient during their visit to FVH
- Escort patient to go to the right department for consultation
- Escort patient for doing the test that is prescript by doctor
* Translation/ interpretation
- Translate between doctor and patients and vice versa:
- Translate what patients said about her/ his disease
- Translate all information about the diagnosis/ treatment given by doctor
- Interpreter all information (Admission procedure, insurance, pre-op, discharge, re-consultation, medication…) provided by FVH staff to Chinese patients
- Translate all notices or information when required
* Phone duty
- Responsible for handling the duty phone
- Responsible for interpreting between FVH staff and Chinese patients when needed (especially during the night and the weekend)
* Others task
- Make weekly reports of translating and interpreting activities
