Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
Planning & Organizing:

1. To short list new potential staff members for development.
2. Responsible for the timely set up of the assigned Food & Beverage outlet, according to the meal settings and in line with the opening hours.
3. To prepare schedules for all personnel according to the forecast and within the limits of the staffing guide, to ensure adequate manpower at all times and under the guidance of the Food and Beverage Manager.

Operations:

1. To conduct regular training sessions with the assigned team in line with the departmental SOP’s i.e. guest care, service standards, up-selling approach, product knowledge, etc.
2. To conduct on the job training of future Assistants Outlet Manager’s if the situation calls for.
3. To prepare and issue duty schedules for the assigned team.
4. To ensure the proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming of assigned staff members.
5. To evaluate the performance of the assigned team and initiate internal promotions.
6. To handle the welcome and seating of arriving guests with the assistance of the hostess.
7. To ensure that under no circumstances the entrance door is left unattended.
8. To maintain a professional / friendly relationship with the outlet patrons.
9. To establish and update the outlet’s database of regular guests.
10.  To tour the outlet and all related areas frequently ensuring the highest possible cleanliness and maintenance standards.
11. To report any equipment failures/problems to the Maintenance Department.
12. To pass any maintenance requests to the Maintenance Department.
13. To participate in any Training/Developments schemes as recommended by senior management.
14. To demonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at all times when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level of commitment.
15. To resolve guest complaints immediately.
16. To ensure that all mise-en place is done according to the whole day’s service requirements.
17. To be actively involved in the outlets promotional activities.
18. To establish a close working relationship with the kitchen and liaises with the chef about menu changes, menu presentations and live cooking activities in the outlet.
19. To control / counter signs all store requisitions (operating material, food products and beverages) and ensures their accurate delivery.
20. To attend all regular Food & Beverage departmental meetings and conduct’s daily briefings to maintain an open communication within the assigned team.
21. To take part in the month end inventory with the cost controller to ensure that closing stocks are recorded as accurate as possible.
22. To carry out other related assignments or tasks entrusted by the Food & Beverage management from time to time.
23. To have a complete understanding of and to adhere to Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
24. Be familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for the department.
25. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, preferably in a Manager role within hotels or upscale restaurants.
• Solid knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, hygiene, health & safety regulations, and cost control.
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills, with the ability to support staff training, scheduling, and daily operations.
• Customer-oriented mindset with good communication skills; able to handle guest requests and operational issues professionally.
• Good command of English (spoken and written); professional appearance and positive working attitude required.
