As an Supervisor for the engineering department you would be assisting the Asst. Chief Engineer on his day to day activities, Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of all machinery, equipment and engineering facilities.

Also to ensure that there is no breakdown of the engineering systems and inspect the working condition of equipment and engineering systems and ensure that all standards are maintained on regular basis.

1. To check all log books daily and take corrective measures accordingly.

2. To coordinate with the outside agencies or vendors for repair and maintenance work.

3. To check the quality of engineering goods procured by the organisation.

4. To obtain a thorough knowledge of firefighting appliances.

5. Able to respond to emergencies in a timely manner.

6. Able to effectively perform vendor management.

7. Monitor and record utility consumption and assist the Chief Engineer to maintain efficiency.

8. Maintain history card for all the plant equipment.

9. Provide supervision and leadership to colleagues, train, coach and develop team members

10. Daily coordination of the Technical services department in his/her area of responsibility.

11. Advise on the duty roster for his/her area of responsibility.

12. Prepare reports, maintain inventories, and keep accurate records, order equipment and supplies.

13. Stay abreast with the technological advances in surveillance & safety of equipment.

14. At regular intervals, inspect the working condition of equipment and engineering systems and ensure that all standards are maintained.

15. Any other job or duties assigned by the management as and when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A diploma or degree qualification. Good English.

Experience: Hotel-related experience desired
