Administration
• Follow all given recipes and guidelines of presentation
• Suggest some creative and attractive new drink selection
• Prepare and issue beverage store requisition and store requisition
• Daily beverage inventory (bar opening and bar closing stock)
Financial and Revenue Responsibilities
• Know the budget of the outlet
• Is active and work hard to reach the budget
• Monitor the cost linked to the operations
Training and Human Resources Management
• Attend all training given by Head Bartender and Outlet Manager
• Establishes effective employee relations and maintains the highest level of professionalism, ethic and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, heads of department and employees
Guest Service Responsibilities
• Ensure full guest satisfaction at any time
• Develop customer loyalty and recognition
• Introduce and up sell any special events / promotions
• Gather guest feedback and report to Outlet Manager and supervisors
• Work hard to satisfy any guest requests
Operational Responsibilities
• Ensure smooth and efficient production of the drinks at any time
• Ensure an extremely detailed presentation of the drinks
• Collect beverage and general store requisition
• Take order and serve drinks of any guest seating at the bar counter
• Ensure proper bar set up as well as working station organization as per given guidelines
• Ensure excellent communication within the team
• Clean the bar counter as per the bar cleaning plan
• Know and apply on the Sofitel brand standards
• Apply all knowledge learnt during the training in operations
• Report any guest complains or comments to Outlet Manager
• Ensure bar display is matching the Sofitel Brand Standards
• Follow hygiene and safety rules in the entire process of the drinks preparation
• Empty garbage bags
• Clean and polish the glassware
• Mise en place of the sugar bowls
• Gather all empty bottles and bring it to the bottle store
Miscellaneous
• All ambassadors are required to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s) within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances.
• All ambassadors may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required by business levels.
GENERAL DUTIES:
Health and Safety
• Ensure that all potential and real Hazards are reported immediately and rectified
• Be fully conversant with all departmental Fire, Emergency and Bomb procedures
• Ensure that all emergency procedures are rehearsed, implemented and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees
• Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying Hotel Regulations by strict adherence to existing laws, statutes etc.
• Ensure all staff within the department work in a manner which is safe and unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to selves or others
To be fully conversant with:
• Hotel fire procedures
• Hotel security procedures
• Hotel Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Hotel Facilities and attractions
• Hotel standards of operation and departmental procedures
• Sofitel Keys of Luxury and Appearance guidelines
• Sofitel “BE Magnifique” vision and its corresponding strategies
• Methods of accepted payment of the company
• Short and long term company marketing promotions

Yêu cầu công việc
• Minimum 3 years experience in the same position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese (spoken & written)
