Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality purchasing of goods and services for all hotel departments.
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier selection, contract negotiation, and delivery follow-up.
- Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with approved suppliers while ensuring competitive pricing, product quality, and reliable service.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and long-term agreements to maximize cost savings without compromising quality.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure adequate stock while minimizing overstocking and waste.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with Banyan Group policies, internal controls, ethical sourcing standards, and local regulations.
- Work closely with Finance, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering, Spa, Front Office, and other departments to understand operational requirements and support business needs.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, product availability, and pricing fluctuations to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
- Prepare procurement reports, purchasing analysis, cost-saving initiatives, supplier performance evaluations, and budget forecasts for management review.
- Oversee receiving and storage practices to ensure purchased goods meet quality specifications and are properly handled.
- Lead supplier audits, tender processes, and annual contract reviews to ensure transparency, compliance, and value for money.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Purchasing team while promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Requirements:
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Well-organized with attention to detail
- Positive attitude, adaptable, and willing to learn
- Ability to work flexible hours when required
- 1–3 years of relevant working experience (hospitality or related fields preferred)
- Experience in international or luxury environments is an advantage
- Basic understanding of service standards and customer experience
- Fresh graduates are welcome for entry-level positions
