Research and Reporting Intern Full- time

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Purpose:
The Research and Reporting Intern will playa critical role in delivering key insights, reports, and market intelligence tosupport the UK and Australia offices. This position involves research,competitor analysis, reporting, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
Research & Reporting
Develop and distribute Newsletters for Destination Clients.
Manage and update UK and Australia Market Research to support business strategy.
Compile Weekly PR clippings to track media coverage and trends.
Maintain and update the Tour Operator Databases and Trade Map with accurate and up- to- date information.
Conduct Client Tour Operator and Brochure Audits to monitor market positioning.
Develop and maintain monthly research papers.
Prepare Monthly Sentiment Reports for all clients.
Carry out Competitor Analysis for both SLC and Destination Clients.
Administrative & Event Support
Maintain client folders with accurate filing and documentation.
Support Event Management, including guest lists, name badges, and post event reports.
Assist with New Business Presentations by gathering relevant insights and data.
Additional Administrative Support (AsRequired)
Support general administration duties, including managing insurance and office supplies.
Coordinate onboarding for new interns, including setting up emails, laptops, phones, and business cards.
REQUIREMENTS
Key Skills & Requirements:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Canva) and digital research tools.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across different time zones.
Strong analytical and research skills with experience in market intelligence.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Experience:
Background in travel, tourism, or hospitality industries is a plus.
Experience supporting international teams or executive- level reporting.
Previous experience in a research, reporting, or marketing role.
