Responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and distributing goods while maintaining accurate records to support the hotel's operations.
Responsibilities
• Inventory management: Maintain accurate inventory records by performing regular stock counts, tracking stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Receiving and inspection: Receive deliveries of goods, verify the quantity and quality of items against purchase orders, and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers. Inspect deliveries and date times to verify consistency and quality. Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash and place in proper storage areas. For beverage items, ensure that labels and stamps are controlled and destroyed, and that empty bottles are rendered unusable before being moved to the waste storage area, in accordance with company and corporate policies.
• Storage and organization: Properly store and arrange goods in designated storage areas, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to storage standards and sanitary regulations.
• Stock replenishment: Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders based on the approved PAR level of each outlet to ensure availability of essential items, while optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing wastage.
• Documentation and record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of goods received, issued, and transferred, including purchase orders, delivery notes, and stock movement reports.
• Supplier coordination: Communicate and coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, quality issues, and returns, and maintain good working relationships with vendors.
• Quality control: Inspect and report any damaged, expired, or substandard items, and collaborate with relevant departments to ensure quality standards are met.
• Monthly Audit: Generate the stock on hand report to Cost Officer and perform the monthly beverage inventory for all outlets.
• Internal coordination: Collaborate with various departments, such as kitchen, housekeeping, F&B Outlets, Finance, and maintenance, to ensure timely and accurate supply of goods as per their requirements.
• Health and safety: Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials, and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
• Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Speak to guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors and Directors

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or related field is a plus.
- Proven work experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory records and conducting stock counts.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and procedures.
- Familiarity with procurement/inventory management system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and coordinate with various departments.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to storage and handling of goods.
