Become totally familiar with the S & M Standards Operating Procedures and follow them accordingly.
Maintain accuracy and efficiency within Delphi system at all times. Maintain and update the catering market database for marketing communications and quoting opportunities.
Undertake additional duties as requested by the Catering & Convention Services Manager and Hotel Management
Assist in the preparation of all catering and MICE proposal and contracts as directed by the Catering & Convention Services Manager / Executive.
Complete Banquet Event Orders, running sheets for catered functions as assigned by Catering & Convention Services Manager / Executive
Anticipate guest’s needs through observation and offer prompt, efficient service either personally or through effective communication with other associates
Assist with co- ordination of day to day operations of the Catering & Convention Services Department and MICE business within the S & M Department.
Conduct site inspections for assigned catered events, travel agent’s visit and assist with Wedding sales, when required.
Establish and maintain an accurate filing system
Fulfill the role of File Manager for events assigned by the Catering & Convention Services Manager/Executive

- Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.
- Ability to utilized the web/internet and database systems effectively.
- Understanding the sales process.
- Good knowledge about F & B.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work unsupervised, work well under pressure.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to fluently speak, read, write and understand language(s) used in the workplace.
- College/university graduated.
