The team
Hitachi Digital Services Vietnam is part of a 300 strong global delivery network, supporting Hitachi Digital Services around the globe. Our employees collaborate with teams in India, Portugal, and the US, servicing customers worldwide and working on a huge variety of projects. From cloud migration to digital modernization and advanced analytics, offering operational excellence, agile delivery, and plenty of energy to work on huge transformation projects for our customers.
The role
Responsibilities
- Active Testing: Execute comprehensive penetration tests across Web, API, and Cloud environments.
- Vulnerability Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of security flaws, from initial discovery and reporting to verifying the final remediation.
- Engineering Collaboration: Partner closely with developers to perform root-cause analysis and provide actionable, code-level guidance for fixing vulnerabilities.
- Prefer to Must have*
- Core Knowledge: Deep expertise in the OWASP Top Ten and common attack vectors.
- The Toolkit: Mastery of industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite, Frida, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, and Metasploit.
- Systems Mastery: Advanced understanding of Linux/Unix internals, system security mechanisms, and network protocols.
- Communication: Good in English (written and verbal) is essential for documenting complex technical findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in the testing process and defect tracking software

- Certifications: Having security certifications such as CompTIA Pentest+ or Security+ is a plus.
- Database Security: Experience with SQL/NoSQL security solutions and hardening.
- Automation: Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Python, Ruby, or Go to automate repetitive testing tasks.
- A degree in computer science in software engineering, information technology, or related fields
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in Penetration Testing, Red Teaming, or Security Operations (SOC).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across the organization
- Be able to self-manage and have the ability to approach work clearly.
- The ability to think systematically and remain calm under the pressure of project complexity increases or high-stress remediation scenarios.
