We are currently looking for Academic Casual staff to perform specified teaching-related duties, such as presenting lectures and tutorials, conducting practical classes or workshops, and marking. Casual rates for academic teaching duties include both the presentation or delivery time and the associated working time (including preparation, reasonably contemporaneous marking, and student consultation) and further information can be found in FaQ.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Master's degree (for Associate Lecturer) or PhD degree (for Lecturer )
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in English-speaking universities in relevant field.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver programs at undergraduate level, including online delivery, and the ability to produce high quality curriculum or program materials.
- Industry or professional experience
- Culturally adapt and agile
After your EOI is submitted, your profile will be reviewed for current and future opportunities. Shortlisted candidates may be contacted by a Talent Acquisition Advisor to confirm to confirm availability and further assess suitability for opportunities within the school
The formal selection process may include an interview, a teaching demonstration (where applicable), and reference checks. Full instructions will be provided if you progress to the next stage
Compliance Requirements
All academic appointments at RMIT Vietnam must meet University and local regulatory requirements, including English proficiency, background checks, and (for international candidates) eligibility for a work permit.
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 7.0 with no competency less than 6.5 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines).

Review ĐẠI HỌC RMIT VIỆT NAM
Sơn La là một tỉnh miền núi thuộc vùng Tây Bắc Việt Nam, có địa hình chủ yếu là đồi núi và cao nguyên rộng lớn. Tỉnh nổi tiếng với hồ thủy điện Sơn La – công trình thủy điện lớn nhất Đông Nam Á và nhiều danh thắng thiên nhiên hùng vĩ. Khí hậu mát mẻ, đất đai màu mỡ giúp Sơn La phát triển mạnh về nông nghiệp, đặc biệt là cây ăn quả, cà phê và chăn nuôi. Thành phố Sơn La là trung tâm kinh tế, văn hóa và hành chính của tỉnh.
Các vị trí việc làm phổ biến gồm công nhân nông nghiệp, kỹ sư nông – lâm nghiệp, giáo viên, nhân viên bán hàng, lái xe và công nhân xây dựng.
Mức lương trung bình tại Sơn La dao động từ 6 – 10 triệu đồng/tháng, tùy theo vị trí và trình độ chuyên môn.
Các nhà máy chế biến nông sản, cơ sở sản xuất và công ty xây dựng trong khu vực thường xuyên tuyển dụng lao động phổ thông và kỹ thuật. Ngành giáo dục và y tế tại địa phương cũng có nhu cầu tuyển dụng ổn định, đặc biệt ở vùng sâu, vùng xa. Bên cạnh đó, lĩnh vực du lịch cộng đồng và dịch vụ tại Mộc Châu, Mai Sơn đang ngày càng phát triển.
