WHO WE ARE
Autonomous is a US company. We design and manufacture our own hardware and sell it worldwide, from offices in New York, San Francisco, Shenzhen and Saigon. We publish our CAD, electronics and firmware as open source.
THE PRODUCT
Autonomous builds AI hardware. Harness is our newest product.
Nothing passes through us that doesn&039;t have to — everything is encrypted end to end, and only your machines hold the keys. The app is free and open source.
Harness puts every coding agent you run, on every machine you own, in one window. Claude Code on the Mac mini at home. Codex on a rented B300 in a datacenter. Cursor on the workstation at the office.
Fourteen agents and counting, each in its own real terminal — and any agent platform can put itself on Harness through an open protocol we publish. Say what you want, and the right agent on the right machine picks it up.
The device is the hardware built for it: swipe to scroll, swipe to switch panes, double- tap and say the next task.
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
At the same time, individual engineers are buying Harness right now, and whether they tell twenty colleagues about it depends on how the first week goes. That&039;s the same job.
Companies like Cursor, Cognition, Command Code, Kilo Code have millions of developer users using them every single day. Every one of those developers is a Harness user who hasn&039;t met the device yet. The path runs through the platform teams: get them onto the protocol, keep them genuinely interested in what it unlocks, and their users arrive with them.
WHAT YOU OWN
Every developer relationship we have — from the platform teams deciding whether to put Harness in front of their users, down to the single engineer who just opened the box and needs it working today.
SCOPE OF WORK
Sign agent platforms onto the protocol. Cursor, Cognition, Command Code, Kilo Code — millions of developers sit behind them, and they meet the device when their platform ships our protocol.
Own the outreach end to end. Research, first message, follow- up, discovery call, through to qualified pipeline or a closed deal.
Onboard the people who buy. DM, call, screenshare — get someone&039;s own agent stack running in the first week. That&039;s what turns one unit into a team order.
Keep your own numbers. Pipeline, conversion, deal status, revenue potential and what you learned along the way — with AI tools doing the research, CRM and reporting legwork.
Bring the field back. What buyers ask for, what competitors ship, what we should fix. Product, Marketing and Engineering hear it from you first.
Be visible where developers are. Founder, developer and AI communities — Discord, GitHub, X, conferences.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in business development, sales, partnerships or growth in tech/startup environments, or another customer- facing role where you carried a target
Easy to trust — friendly, high energy, straight with people. They remember you after one call and they reply to your emails
Smart and fast — you learn a new product category in days, not months, and you think on your feet when a customer pushes back
Good English — written and spoken. IELTS / TOEIC / TOEFL certificate required. You&039;ll be selling to US and global technical buyers, often in writing, often live
Technical enough — you don&039;t need to write production code, but you need to understand it: coding agents, GPUs, local inference, dev workflows. You should be able to read a spec sheet and explain the trade- offs to a customer without hiding behind a deck
Owns outcomes — you measure yourself in deals closed and accounts opened, not in activity
NICE TO HAVE
You&039;ve built something yourself: a side project, a script, a rig, a community
You use AI tools daily — Claude Code, Codex, agents, local models — and can talk about your own setup
Sold or marketed hardware, dev tools, GPU/compute, or anything to a developer audience
