The Role: WorldQuant is seeking an exceptional individual to work as a Quantitative Developer in a high performance business-embedded tech team. Working closely with Technologists and Researchers on building complex pipelines and frameworks for strategy and performance analytics. A successful candidate will bring a strong quant dev skillset with the best design / implementation principles and ability to quickly acquire in-depth domain knowledge.
What You’ll Bring
- A passion for software engineering and operations, with a strong drive to build and run real world applications to solve user needs
- Experience as a software developer, or a degree in a quantitative or engineering field
- A solid understanding of the Python ecosystem and outstanding coding skills
- Familiarity with data processing and visualization technologies such as NumPy, pandas, Airflow, Plotly Dash, or React, and platforms such as Linux and Kubernetes
- Maturity and thoughtfulness, with strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
