Summary/Tổng quan:
This is a technical/administrative position responsible for the Network and Server support through Help Desk methods and assisting with various network/server request and department tasks.
Report to Information Technology Manager
Responsibilities and Duties:
Under the general supervision is responsible for the following tasks:
Maintain network printers/shares
Updates Certs as needed
Configure and update Proxy
Configure and update DNS
Configure and troubleshoot Edge and Core Switch issues.
Familiarity with Cisco IOS firewalling, network level intrusion detection/prevention systems. OpenBSD PF or Linux IPTables a plus.
Remote and hands on configuration of routers, switches, and cisco wireless networks.
Virtualization experience, prefer VMware vcenter, VDS, Esxi, AWS, Azure. Skills in Xen, hyper-v, bhyve, docker compose, etc are acceptable
Understanding of Unix/Linux command-line interface (CLI).
Shell ing languages).
Revision Control Systems
Provide Network and Server Disaster Recovery documentation
Troubleshoot Windows-based Server Raid incidents
Create VMs
Load and manage Veeam backup application/Servers.
Level 2 resolution of CATA GAN/WAN incidents
Responsible for researching current/future technology
Occasional Network cable installation and maintenance
Other duties as assigned.

Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Education and Experience:
A minimum of 2 year experience with a working knowledge of Networking in a mid to large manufacturing environment. CCNA certification. Above average communication skills (written and spoken English). Must have an Associates degree in Networking/Windows Servers (or related degree) or have equivalent experience.
Skill and Abilities:
Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices
Above average English communication skills (written and verbal) to communicate directly with end-users
Good problem solving / troubleshooting skills
A minimum score of 20 on the Wonderlic Contemporary Cognitive Ability Test (If required)
Travel Requirements
This position typically does require up to 10% travel
