Accor's La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – MGallery is seeking an experienced and passionate Night Captain to lead our Front Office operations during the night shift.

As the Night Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office overnight while delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will lead the night team, oversee guest services, perform night audit procedures, and ensure the safety, security, and operational excellence of the resort throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all Front Office operations during the night shift.

Ensure a smooth and personalized arrival and departure experience for all guests.

Support and guide the Night Receptionist in handling guest requests and operational procedures.

Perform and verify the Night Audit process, ensuring all financial transactions are balanced accurately.

Review daily revenue reports and prepare operational and financial reports for management.

Handle guest concerns, complaints, and emergency situations with professionalism and sound judgment.

Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Security, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless overnight operations.

Monitor room status, occupancy, and VIP arrivals to ensure operational readiness.

Ensure compliance with Accor brand standards, hotel policies, and operational procedures.

Maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests and Heartists throughout the night.

Coach, motivate, and support the night shift team while maintaining high service standards.

Perform Duty Manager responsibilities during the night shift when required.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of Front Office experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Previous experience as a Night Captain, Night Supervisor, or Duty Manager is highly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Experience with Opera Cloud/Opera PMS and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Front Office operations, night audit procedures, and hotel financial controls.
• Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness to work permanent night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
