 Collects and delivery clean linen from laundry to service areas

 Removes rubbish from guest rooms to compactor area

 Sweeps and clean housekeeping offices and store rooms

 Makes up roll-away beds and delivers to guest rooms

 Makes up cots for guests and delivers to rooms

 Removes and re-hangs curtains for cleaning

 Helps Room Attendants with cleaning programs

 Assists in public areas with cleaning programs

 Assist with turn down

 Move and arranges furniture as required

 Turns mattresses

 Cleans hall ways and restrooms

 Washes walls and ceilings

 Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleanings, brooms, shampoo machines

 Dusts and polishes metal surfaces

 Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial scrubbing machines

 Maintain a thorough knowledge of guest room numbers and hotel layout

 Maintain a thorough knowledge of bathroom amenities for all room categories

 Maintain a thorough knowledge of other special amenities for VIP Guests, Priority Club Guests and repeat guests

 Respond to supervisors directions and collect and place items in guest rooms in a professional, efficient manner

 Return items to guest rooms in a professional, timely manner, adhering to room entry procedures

 Is multi-skilled as a Room Attendant as well as other areas of Housekeeping

 Attends all staff training meetings as when directed by the superiors

 Reports any health or safety hazards or any complaint or potential complaint to the Manager immediately

 Maintain good relations with interfacing departments, particularly Room Service, Laundry and Front Office

 Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety.

 Perform any other duties which may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications –

• Primary Education or equivalent

Experience –

• Some housekeeping experience.
