1. Responsible for direct supervising and monitoring all activities related to the SMT machines, equipment, tool, jig, fixture .. and SMT process./ Chịu trách nhiệm giám sát trực tiếp và theo dõi tất cả các hoạt động liên quan đến máy móc, thiết bị, dụng cụ, jig, đồ gá và quy trình SMT.

2. Provides technical support to review the design for manufacturing on new and existing products. Analysis and validate the tooling and fixtures to make sure the tooling and fixtures are optimized for production./ Cung cấp hỗ trợ kỹ thuật, đánh giá khả năng sản xuất của thiết kế đối với các sản phẩm mới và hiện có. Phân tích và xác nhận tính tối ưu của dụng cụ và đồ gá để đảm bảo phù hợp cho sản xuất.

3. Coordinates the engineering activities between SMT, Project Engineer, Quality…. to ensure the product meets customer’s requirements, and continuous improvement./ Phối hợp các hoạt động kỹ thuật giữa bộ phận SMT, Kỹ sư dự án, Chất lượng… nhằm đảm bảo sản phẩm đáp ứng yêu cầu của khách hàng và liên tục được cải tiến.

4. Analyze and layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency and reduce waste./ Phân tích và bố trí thiết bị, không gian làm việc để tối đa hóa hiệu suất và giảm lãng phí.

5. Manage the machine, equipment, tool, jig, fixture, and spare part. Create and follow the maintenance plan for all machines, equipment, tool, jig, fixture. All machines, equipment must be in good condition./ Quản lý máy móc, thiết bị, dụng cụ, jig, đồ gá và linh kiện dự phòng. Lập kế hoạch bảo trì và theo dõi tình trạng của tất cả thiết bị, đảm bảo luôn trong điều kiện tốt nhất.

6. Monitoring the NPI process. Support design for manufacturing review, create tool, jig, fixture to support production./ Giám sát quy trình NPI, hỗ trợ đánh giá khả năng sản xuất, thiết kế dụng cụ, jig, đồ gá để hỗ trợ sản xuất.

7. Focus on First Pass Yield, Process downtime, Line improvement, Kaizen, Best Practice, PFMEA, Quality standard of the product (IPC), Poka-Yoke…/ Tập trung vào các chỉ số: First Pass Yield, thời gian dừng máy, cải tiến dây chuyền, Kaizen, Best Practice, PFMEA, tiêu chuẩn chất lượng sản phẩm (IPC), Poka-Yoke…

8. Train engineers, technicians to ensure that all can handle their job, and work independently with less supervision from the senior./ Đào tạo kỹ sư, kỹ thuật viên để đảm bảo họ có thể tự xử lý công việc và làm việc độc lập với sự giám sát tối thiểu từ cấp trên.

9. The works relate to the production process:/ Các công việc liên quan đến quy trình sản xuất:

· Monitoring productivity for SMT line, manage cycle time & do line balancing. Evaluate and improve the production process./ Giám sát năng suất dây chuyền SMT, quản lý thời gian chu kỳ và cân bằng dây chuyền. Đánh giá và cải tiến quy trình sản xuất.

· Study, analyze, and suggest the appropriate methods to reach the minimum machine downtime, losing component, improve the quality of products./ Nghiên cứu, phân tích và đề xuất các phương pháp phù hợp để giảm thiểu thời gian dừng máy, giảm hao hụt linh kiện, nâng cao chất lượng sản phẩm.

· Create, manage, backup, and preserve the program of SMT, AOI, WAVE, PRINTER, REFLOW, COATING Machine./ Tạo, quản lý, sao lưu và bảo trì chương trình của các máy SMT, AOI, WAVE, PRINTER, REFLOW, COATING.

· Create, improve all the documents that relate to the production process, such as maintenance instructions, production procedures, work instructions, …/ Xây dựng và cải tiến các tài liệu liên quan đến quy trình sản xuất như hướng dẫn bảo trì, quy trình sản xuất, hướng dẫn công việc,…

· Study, build tools for production to improve the quality of products./ Nghiên cứu và phát triển các công cụ hỗ trợ sản xuất nhằm nâng cao chất lượng sản phẩm.

· Summary of the downtime machine, losing component ratio that causes by machine. Review and plan to improve./ Tổng hợp dữ liệu về thời gian dừng máy, tỷ lệ hao hụt linh kiện do máy móc gây ra, đánh giá và lập kế hoạch cải tiến.

. Equipment capability study, evaluate and improvemet./ Nghiên cứu, đánh giá và nâng cao năng lực thiết bị.

10. Performs other duties and special tasks given from seniors and BOD to achieve the company and departmental objectives./ Thực hiện các nhiệm vụ khác theo yêu cầu từ cấp trên và Ban Giám đốc để đạt được mục tiêu của công ty và bộ phận.

1. Background & Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
• Strong theoretical foundation in electronic manufacturing, automation systems, and SMT technology.

2. Core SMT Technical Expertise

· Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in SMT manufacturing engineering, including:

· SMT Machine Programming & Operation

· Proficient in programming and optimizing:

• Screen Printer
• Pick & Place machines (Panasonic / Samsung preferred)
• Reflow Oven
• AOI, SPI, Coating, Wave Soldering

· Strong understanding of SMT parameters, stencil design, solder paste behavior, panel characteristics, feeder setup, and component reliability.

. Process Engineering

• Skilled in SMT process setup, debugging, and optimization.
• Experience improving First-Pass Yield (FPY), reducing cycle time, performing line balancing, and resolving downtime issues.
• Able to evaluate process capability and drive improvements through structured engineering analysis.

· NPI / DFM (Design for Manufacturing)

• Capable of leading NPI builds, reviewing Gerber data, generating SMT machine programs, and validating tooling/fixtures.
• Able to work with design teams to ensure manufacturability.

3. Engineering Tools & Problem-Solving

. Strong knowledge and practical use of:

• 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA / PFMEA
• SPC, Control Charts, Pareto, Fishbone
• Understanding of IPC standards (IPC‑A‑610, J‑STD)
• Structured troubleshooting of SMT defects (tombstoning, bridging, solder balling, insufficient solder, misalignment, etc.)

4. Equipment, Tooling & Maintenance Ability

• Experience managing SMT equipment, jigs, fixtures, and spare parts.
• Ability to design or improve simple tools/jigs for manual or semi‑automatic processes.
• Capable of creating and maintaining preventive maintenance plans for SMT equipment.

5. Leadership & Team Development

· Experience supervising engineers and technicians in a fast-paced SMT environment.

· Strong coaching ability to ensure the team can independently handle:

• Machine setup
• Program editing
• Troubleshooting
• Line recovery during downtime

· Able to coordinate well with Production, Quality, Planning, and Project Engineering.

6. Communication & Working Style

• Good communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
• Hands-on, logical, detail-oriented, and accountable.
• Comfortable working directly on the production floor and providing real-time support.
