General Job Description

• SMT engineer require the services when issues that are confusing happen during the assembly process of printed circuit boards. They are also needed when there is a decline regarding manufacturing efficiency and quality of PCBA products. The main duty of SMT process engineers are:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES/Nhiệm vụ và trách nhiệm cần thiết

• -In charge of Screen Printers, SMT and IR-Reflow processes, through process optimize to improve
• soldering quality to achieve company target. Found the soldering defect in new model trial run stage
• and come out the improve plan before mass production. Review the PCB pad design for new PCB
• and give out reasonable DFM suggestion to customer.
• - Set up SMT soldering quality control plan and analysis the defect and continue improve it.
• - Compile and update manufacturing instruction of Screen printers, SMT and IR-Reflow processes
• - Prepare and setup spare parts store
• - Responsible for improvement of uptime of Screen printers, SMT and IR-Reflow equipment
• - Aid to qualify indirect / direct materials as required
• - Provide training to subordinates and Production labors
• - Draw up and carry out maintain plan for these equipment
• - Provide recommendation to procurement of equipment/ fixtures
• - Lead to continue improve processes capability
• - SMT production management, include plan, material, manpower
• - Defines the process of SMT assembly and upgrades it
• - Handles any abnormalities during the process
• - Implements and testifies special processes for manufacturing
• - Sets the parameters for the process.
• - Evaluates new processes and new components.
• - Other jobs assign from superior.
  

Skills and Experience

• - Understanding of safety and equipment procedures
• - Hands-on experience with tools, boards, parts, and other components of PCB assembly
• - Experience with quality standard and inspection, for example, IPC & ISO 9001: 2015 standards.
• - Ample understanding of engineering bill of material
• - Understanding of molding materials, SMT, and the process of semiconductor packaging.
• - The apt understanding of the assembly process and equipment. This includes SMT process tools.
• - Good communication and training skills
• - Fluent in English
• - Minimum 4 years of working experience of SMT / PCBA manufacturing operation as SMT Engineer
• - Lot experience on SMT process improvement, especially on reduce process defect. Lot experience
• on SMT stencil aperture design for different size and packing component
• - Understanding ROHS and Non-ROHS requirement
• - Familiar with equipment of SMT, PCBA processes and the industrial standard
• - Have great interesting in SMT manufacture field and ability to learn new things.
  

Qualification Requirements

• College education or above with major in electronics or mechanics.

Working Conditions:

• 8:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, Saturday if required
