We are currently expanding our ENGINEERING SERVICES and are looking for a CAD DRAFTER to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality projects to our clients.

Job Description

Working as part of an expanding team and reporting to the principal surveyor/operations manager. You will work closely with other CAD Drafter(s) and Asbestos surveyors on a wide variety of projects to deliver completed 2D AutoCAD/ VISIO drawings to produce floor plans, elevations and also topographical drawings. The role will also entail providing drafting support to other disciplines within the business.

Qualifications

• High level of competency and experience using AutoCAD (and other Autodesk products) and VISIO ideally within a building survey-based environment.
• Experience with the production of 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of the latest industry standards relating to Asbestos surveys.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a wide range of people.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to check drawings put together by the surveyors.
• Working knowledge of layering, external references, coordinate grids, datums and sheeting up drawings.
• Excellent time management skills with an emphasis on delivery and meeting delivery schedules.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
