• Assume primary responsibility for developing, maintaining, and governing all policies, procedures, and official frameworks related to asset classification, provision, utilization of provision to settle risk, credit bureau reporting, and debt management.
• Manage and execute periodic credit classification and provisioning pipelines in strict compliance with State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) regulations and internal risk policies.
• Oversee and facilitate the write-off and risk mitigation processes, preparing comprehensive documentation, minutes and proposals for the Risk Committee and the Risk Settlement Committee.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the State Bank of Vietnam for credit management, handling regulatory correspondence, inspections, and drafting official responses regarding credit risk and portfolio quality.
• Govern credit bureau and data providers reporting mechanisms, taking full ownership of data transmission integrity, error handling, and resolving complex credit registry disputes or data mismatches.
• Formulate and update Enterprise Risk Management frameworks, asset-sale policies, and debt-purchasing transaction protocols to safeguard the company’s portfolio.
• Develop and model sophisticated financial impact simulations for asset classification changes and provisioning scenarios, translating complex regulatory requirements into highly accurate Excel-based models.
• Support the preparation of regulatory and management reports, driving the integration of advanced accounting standards (including IFRS9 frameworks) into current methodologies.
• Ensure absolute compliance with personal data protection laws across all credit risk operations, directly governing risk management terms in contracts with external data vendors.
• Conduct rigorous internal data audits on portfolio to ensure high consistency, data integrity, and bulletproof audit trails for external and internal regulatory examinations.
• Support business decisions with ad-hoc analysis and strategy simulations as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Banking, Law, Risk Management, or related quantitative disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of deep experience in credit policy, regulatory reporting, asset classification, or risk compliance within consumer finance companies, retail banks, or Big 4 auditing firms.
• Strong command of professional Vietnamese and English writing for drafting official government dispatches, regulatory responses, and formal boardroom minutes.
• Deep, comprehensive knowledge of SBV regulations regarding debt classification, provisioning (Circular 13, Decree 86 and updates), CIC reporting regulations (Circular 15), and personal data protection laws.
• Strong background in auditing with a proven track record of handling regulatory environments, audit schedules, and rigorous attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of IFRS9 frameworks, particularly Expected Credit Loss (ECL) modeling and accounting treatment for credit impairment, is a significant plus.
• Expert-level proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory; must be capable of processing, automating, and auditing large financial datasets, complex pivot tables, and advanced financial formulas.
