Senior Facilities Engineer to manage and maintain the DI water treatment system that supports manufacturing operations.

This role ensures the facility systems run reliably, meet water quality requirements, and support production with stable utilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate, maintain, and improve the DI water treatment system (RO, IX, EDI, UF, wastewater systems).
• Monitor water quality parameters such as resistivity, pH, turbidity, silica, and TOC to ensure system performance.
• Troubleshoot system issues such as membrane fouling, scaling, or equipment failures.
• Plan and implement preventive and predictive maintenance for water treatment equipment.
• Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure stable facility operations.
• Support facility upgrades, system improvements, and new equipment installation.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and maintenance reports.
• Train technicians and operators on system operation and safety practices.
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations, ISO standards, and company safety requirements.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in water treatment systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electronics or semiconductor factories is a plus.

Skills

• Good knowledge of water treatment technologies such as RO, ion exchange, membrane systems, or wastewater treatment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of PLC or SCADA systems is an advantage.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and handle technical issues effectively.
