Role Description

The Cloud Administrator is responsible for securing, managing, and optimizing the company's Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environment ensuring platform stability, enforcing security policies, and building the foundational cloud infrastructure that all digital, data, and operational initiatives depend on. Beyond administration, this role carries significant security ownership designing and implementing a zero trust security architecture, enforcing DLP policies, owning incident response procedures, and driving company-wide security awareness and compliance readiness. The Cloud Administrator is the organization's primary defense against cloud security risks and takes direct accountability for ensuring the environment is hardened, governed, and audit-ready at all times.

Main task:

• Implement and manage IAM, MFA, Conditional Access, and RBAC
• Build and operate a Zero Trust security model across the environment
• Design and manage DLP policies across Microsoft 365 & Azure
• Lead end-to-end security incident response and management
• Configure and optimize network security (VPN, firewall, segmentation)
• Manage endpoints via Intune and enforce device compliance
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness (ISO 27001, documentation, reviews)
• Deliver company-wide security awareness training programs
• Govern SharePoint, access controls, and data lifecycle
• Automate onboarding/offboarding and user access control
• Manage Azure infrastructure and optimize cloud costs
• Enable platforms and access for data, app, and Power Platform teams

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Preferred: AZ-104, AZ-500, SC-300, SC-200
• Additional advantage: MS-500, SC-400 or equivalent

Experience (Required)

• Over 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure & Microsoft 365 (security-focused)
• Experience with Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC
• Intune deployment & endpoint management
• DLP policy implementation
• Security incident handling in cloud environment
• Strong PowerShell scripting for automation & reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data validation)
• Understanding of Zero Trust principles
• Experience with SharePoint Online administration

Technical Skills

• Microsoft 365: Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID
• Security: Defender, Intune, Purview, Conditional Access
• Network: VNet, Firewall, VPN, Private Endpoints, DNS
• Compliance: ISO 27001, Microsoft Compliance Manager, Secure Score

English: Intermediate (able to read/write technical documents and communicate at work)
