Pentalog Vietnam is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer with DevOps (monitoring) experience to join an interesting and potential project.
Our US client provides the leading, independent, multi-issuer platform for structured products and annuities. They are the trustworthy partners for bank leaders and advisors by providing the most transparent, objective, and easy-to-manage tools so they can help guide their clients towards a better financial future.

Responsibilities:

Java development:

• Responsible for designing, developing, delivering and maintaining Java-based applications.
• Interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications.
• Reading logs, debugging code, making quick fixes
• Writing new mappings, doing deployments, and updating databases
• Identifying and resolving immediate and potential issues with applications.
• Performing change management activities such as source code management, creating activity records for production implementation, creating implementation plans

DevOps monitoring:

• Perform releases and rollbacks, checking logs using Circle CI
• Responsible for Monitoring operation services continuity
• Administer, monitor, health check system, ensure high availability and backup
• Develop Metabase dashboards (SQL, Mongo)

Yêu cầu công việc

Must have:

• Experience with Java Development:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer;
• Experience in developing applications using at least one popular framework (Spring, Hibernate, Play, JSF...);
• Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns;
• Experience in JUNIT testing: Spring test, EasyMock, Spring datatest, etc;
• Experience with Microservices, Code Quality control: Sonar.
• Experience with DevOps monitoring:
• Hands-on experience with setting up and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes, familiar with CircleCI is a plus;
• Experience with AWS, experience with AWS Lambda functions is a plus;
• Experience with SQL/MongoDB.

Soft-skills:

• Good problem-solving skills;
• Good communication and client-facing skills, able to reinforce relationships with client;
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have:

• Experience in working across the Asia-Pacific region;
• Experience in building and leading a team with strong leadership skills;
• Experience with Fintech/Finance business domain.
