JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Product Manager based in Vietnam is responsible for the operational management of
the passenger car & motorcycle motor oil (PCMO & MCO) product portfolio including all activities
related to the launch of new products and phasing out of existing products for the region. This role
will work closely with the Vietnam R&D Centre and Regional Product Team based in Singapore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

-Product Portfolio Management (Manage product lifecycle from new product launch to the
end, including coordination with operation team on phase-in phase-out and termination of
products)
-Coordinate product development status with the Vietnam R&D Centre (D-Lab) after design
phase is completed.
-Responsible for the rollout of products adapted to local requirements, managing packaging
labels, standards, and regulatory requirements)
-Make sure the products are compliant with the global and local regulations; be responsible
to product standards and regulatory registration and liaising with additive suppliers.
-Keep the consistency of the brand image of products with adequate product labels and
packages.
-Coordinating the label artworks modification and liaising with stakeholders for timely output
-Responsible for managing the overall quality of each product rollout.
-Coordination for Motul’s Design-to-Cost initiative: Ensuring input from various stakeholders
(R&D, Product, Supply Chain) involved are consolidated and disseminated to the
responsible functions.
