- Understand UX/UI design processes such as user research, corporate identity systems, visual design, communication design, user experience, user interaction and UI/UX design systems.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Units, and Developers to craft consistent user experiences and sensible user interfaces that accommodate both user needs and business objectives; and at the same time reflecting the continuity of product brand identity.
- Articulate design principles specific to each product or service, and apply them meaningfully throughout the design process.
- Translate user needs uncovered from user research into functional and emotional user experiences.
- Develop and consistently improve upon iterations of interaction flows, wireframes, user interface designs, low & high fidelity prototypes, and design systems.
- Actively lead discussions around design and its users, and provide feedbacks to designers, business units, and developers.
- Participate in usability testing sessions to gain better understanding of user responses and perceptions towards new proposed designs.
- Create comprehensive UX/UI design systems for both designers and cross-functional team members to use together, as a tool to improve communications and product development.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure quality and design consistency of the final product or service.
- Ask questions and challenge the status. Go beyond the brief to understand the why behind assumptions, ideas, and constraints to better inform the strategies on how we might tackle problems both big and small.
