You are a dynamic, entrepreneurial individual keen to help further develop our offshore business, primarily in Australian markets but potentially elsewhere. We have a good base in providing offshore engineering of building MEP services, and are interested to further develop our structural engineering offering, and in time extend into architectural services.

Initially we anticipate you will share your time between Australia and Vietnam, though realistically the role can be performed using a hybrid approach, with a large proportion managed remotely.

Indochine Engineering is a multi-discipline engineering consultant based in HCMC, Vietnam. Recently acquired by Japanese contractor Tokyu Construction, approximately 50% of our work is as a traditional consultant in Vietnam & ASEAN, with the remaining 50% as an offshore service provider to markets in Australia, US, UK & Japan.

Responsibilities:
Develop new markets and identify, liaise and engage with new customers, who could be engineering consultants, architects or contractors.
Initiate the introduction and support of Indochine offshore leaders and their teams with new customers utilizing MS Teams, BIM360 and other online systems.
Provide support to our customers and offshore teams as required, and sometimes will involve more input such as project implementation and management, but more often will be on a fluctuating or even an ad hoc basis.
Monitor and take responsibility for the financial performance of our offshoring business stream, conduct business development activities and implement the decisions of the BoD.
Provide alternate paths for the resolution of issues.
Report to our Australian General Director in Vietnam, with the support and guidance from our Australia based director.
