Mô tả Công việc
- Lead a project independently from concept into production.
- Propose test cases or relevant test methods.
- Setup and complete testing independently.
- Analyze data, draw conclusions.
- Communicate and discuss findings with customers and colleagues and take action.
- Good understanding of technical aspects of in-house processes relevant to EWI’s products (i.e injection molding, printing on plastic, wire harnesses, PCB assembly, stamping, plastic coloration, etc.);
- Familiar with outside supplier processes and requirements, with ability to learn more as needed through independent research and training (e.g. mold making, printing, extrusion, metals & coating);
- Strong 2D and 3D drawing skills, ability to create 3D models from samples;
- Ability to work with outside suppliers to develop products on-time that meet requirements;
- Microsoft Excel or other statistical tools – ability to use advanced functions such as ‘lookup and reference’, statistical and engineering analysis, ability to communicate data and results in a clear and professional way.
- Conduct specific tasks for BOD and Engineering Manager.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
- Minimum 5 years working experience in similar job field or 2 years working as Level 2 Project Engineer at EWI;
- Ability to lead development of complex products involving multiple technical fields and coordinate between in-house teams (Purchasing, Quality, Production), domestic and international suppliers, and colleagues/customers overseas;
- Proven track record of bringing products to market (from tooling start through first production) within schedule and budget;
- Advanced technical knowledge in certain key fields, good understanding of other relevant fields;
- Ability to interface with customer design team to provide manufacturing advice (DFM) during concept and design phase;
- Understanding of cost structure and ability to prepare costing for RFQs;
- Ability to lead lower level project engineers and provide training;
- English – advanced reading/writing, able to read and understand technical documents such as UL, ASME, CE, etc. specifications. Intermediate to advanced spoken English to communicate directly with foreigner colleagues and customers.
