Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the Hardlines business.
• Develop new customers and expand the customer portfolio in Vietnam and assigned markets.
• Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities through customer visits, cold calling, networking, exhibitions, seminars, referrals, and market research.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts through regular customer engagement, up-selling, and cross-selling.
• Develop opportunities in key Hardlines sectors such as furniture, home & garden, toys, juvenile products, consumer goods, DIY, building products, and related industries.
• Introduce and promote TÜV Rheinland's testing, inspection, certification, training, and sustainability solutions.
• Build strong relationships with manufacturers, brands, retailers, importers, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, regulatory developments, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Manage sales pipeline, quotations, negotiations, and customer follow-up to achieve successful order conversion.
• Collaborate closely with internal laboratories, technical experts, and cross-functional teams to provide appropriate solutions to customers.
• Travel regularly for customer visits, exhibitions, seminars, and business development activities.

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Experience in TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification), testing laboratories, certification, compliance, consumer products, manufacturing, or other related technical service industries is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in new customer acquisition, lead generation, and business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel regularly for customer visits and business development activities.

Ideal Candidate

• The ideal candidate is a hunter-type B2B Sales/Business Development professional who enjoys identifying new business opportunities, approaching prospective customers, building relationships with key decision-makers, and converting opportunities into long-term business partnerships.
• Candidates with experience in TIC companies, testing laboratories, certification bodies, inspection organizations, consumer product compliance, or other B2B technical service providers are highly preferred. Experience serving industries such as Hardlines, furniture, toys, home & garden, consumer goods, or manufacturing will be an advantage.
