The maintenance & Grounds Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the buildings and all the property grounds. In conjunction with the Estate Manager, they must coordinate with staff members and “on-call” vendors to ensure that the buildings and all systems are maintained in good order and that the grounds are attractive, safe, and functional. The ideal candidate will possess trade certification and have excellent computer, communication and organizational skills, and a passion for landscaping, and knowledge of Vietnamese building codes, horticulture and principles and practices.

Maintenance & Grounds Manager Responsibilities

Safely transporting family members and company executives to and from specified l Key responsibilities include:

• Regular vehicle cleaning, maintenance and inspection.

• Liaise with the Estate Manager for scheduling travel

• Safely transport family members and company executives to and from specified locations.

• Navigation and route planning.

• Adherence to traffic laws.

• Good time management.

• Scheduling trips as directed by the Estate Manager.

• Being able to adapt to changing situations.

• Oversee security

• Excellent customer service.

Basic computer skills.

Have a trade certification as an electrician, plumber or HVAC technician.

The ideal candidate will also have a degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture or a related field, OR 3 years related experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills

Knowledge of horticulture principles and practices, including plant identification and care, soil management, and pest control

Ability to operate and maintain various types of grounds equipment, tools, and machinery

Proven ability to manage staff and budgets effectively
