Purpose:

Ensures that products delivered to customers meet agreed quality standards and conducts both supplier and internal audits. Leads the deployment and integration of ALPS Quality Management as a key priority while maintaining all relevant quality certifications.

Responsibilities:

- Plans and effectively manages all Quality Control (QC) resources to ensure internal and external customer requirements are met. Ensures working practices comply with regulatory requirements to support product registration, development, and manufacturing activities.

- Manages the Site Quality Management System (QMS) and maintains ISO 9001 certification and other applicable business standards. Leads customer and internal audits, maintains quality certifications, and implements quality standards and systems. Actively drives the deployment of ALPS Foundations and ALPS Quality Management primary processes as a key priority.

- Manages final batch testing and product quality review processes for all relevant products. Ensures Quality Control activities at tolling sites are executed effectively and efficiently in accordance with established inspection plans. Establishes and maintains processes and standards to minimize batch adjustments and quality hits, with a clear escalation process in place when performance exceeds acceptable thresholds.

- Partners with RD&I and Production to ensure New Product Introduction (NPI) procedures, including inter-company product transfers, are established and followed. Collaborates to evaluate and implement leading-edge technologies that enhance product quality throughout the end-to-end manufacturing process, such as in-line testing. Coordinates with manufacturing and other internal functions to identify, resolve, and prevent product quality issues.

- Collaborates with Sales, Technical Business Partners, and QC teams to assess customer satisfaction, investigate customer complaints, and drive the implementation of corrective and continuous improvement actions.

- Works closely with Packaging Specialists to ensure packaging specifications are effectively implemented and that new packaging developments comply with established standards and protocols.

- Plans, leads, and coordinates quality improvement projects, including customer complaint reduction initiatives, process improvements, and quality enhancement programs.

Leads negotiations with customers on quality requirements and standards, ensuring alignment between customer expectations and organizational capabilities.

- Manages supplier quality performance by establishing, reviewing, and continuously improving supplier audit processes. Leads the resolution of supplier quality issues and formal disputes in close collaboration with the Procurement/Purchasing function.

- Ensures the preparation and issuance of technical documentation that supports and certifies product reliability, safety, compliance, and performance for customers.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field.
• Major in Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Good command of English (4 skills).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Quality Management and HSF Management Systems.
• At least 2 years of experience in the similar position.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems; Lead Auditor certification is highly preferred.
• Experience in conducting internal and supplier audits is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and a high level of professionalism.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive quality excellence.
• Color-sensitive due to operational and quality-related requirements.
