- Support manager for department planning, and Independently implement strategic project & initiatives.
- Assist manager to lead the quality team of certain department as the quality focal point for supplier activities directed toward process control and quality assurance of sourcing products. Work with supplier to establish a structured approach for consistency and adherence to quality procedures and requirements.
- Work closely with Inspection Team on supplier surveillance audit (product / manufacturing process / quality system) and process capability analysis / improvement for suppliers and their sub-tier suppliers through quality tools to drive supplier’s continuous improvement.
- Follow up non-conforming from the inspection / audit and identify / drive root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive action implementation.
- Deploy Advanced Product Quality Planning activities to determine appropriate use of process controls with suppliers during pilot and mass production.
- Facilitate and promote use of six sigma, Lean, and statistical tools and DMAIC methodology for quality improvement project.
- Coach and develop SQE on technical skills, quality tools/system and supplier management.
- Work closely with ATL and ASO QA to manage service providers to ensure compliance to relevant requirements from Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work closely with Engineering and Sourcing team to eliminate roadblocks and communication barriers that may affect quality and delivery requirements.
- Work closely with Sourcing team on the new product launch and the development of potential suppliers to meet THD requirements.
- Data analysis for actions focus and quality improvement plan.
