Responsible for managing all supply chain activities which include and not limited to production scheduling, raw material planning as well as customer service, import & exporting and warehouse management.

Ensuring the material procurement, planning and management as well as logistics processes of the supply chain on site as well as actively developing and subsequently ensuring the implementation of the business plan and the strategic targets for the areas of materials management and logistics.

Annual business planning (ABP)
• Ensuring the proper and complete implementation of the annual business plan within the area of responsibility.
• Ensuring the development and implementation of supply chain key figures in setting plant targets.

Operational control
• Planning and controlling the entire supply chain on site with the aim of maximizing the customer service, minimizing the ordering and inventory costs, smoothening the planning process in order to facilitate optimal workflows in production, set-up costs and productivity trends.
• Ensuring the delivery service (quality; quantity; delivery date) for all customers in lines with customer/tesa expectations.
• Establish supply chain continuous improvement process culture.

Ensuring the procurement of raw materials
• Ensuring the timely disposal and proper qualitative and quantitative procurement of raw materials, including the monitoring of timely delivery and, if necessary, complaint processing.

Plant logistics
• Ensuring all logistic processes in the plant with the aim of a smooth production process by providing all input materials to the machinery cost centers on time and in the proper quantity as well as ensuring the timely delivery of finished goods.
• Ensure safety operations in Warehouse
• Establish proper procedures in recording, physical handling, inspection, storage and issuance of materials, and when necessary proper disposal of slow moving and obsolete materials.
• To ensure inventory accuracy is up to 100% through efficient warehousing processes, proper controls and good housekeeping e.g. conducting regular cycle stock count etc.
• Regular review of stock movement and put away strategies, shelf life and ensure practices of first-in-first-out in materials issuance.

Import and Export
• Ensure all import and export activities 100% comply with local law and regulations. Guide daily import & export to ensure the operation smoothly.
• Monitor forwarder performance and give timely feedback to regional team as input for next round tender process.
• Manage local broker to ensure a smooth import and export process.

Safety / Environmental Guidelines
• Taking measures to implement current insights, guidelines and conditions for logistics-related legal developments with a focus on safety and environmental protection as well as monitoring compliance on an ongoing basis.
• Ensure a compliant hazardous waste disposal process.

Organizing and leading employees
• Ensuring that the responsible function meets its requirements, and that employee performance is encouraged.
• Leading, developing and evaluating subordinate employees by setting goals and conducting regular discussions in order to ensure a high degree of employee commitment.

Project responsibility
• Initiating and coordinating strategically relevant supply chain projects with the aim of the efficient flow of material.
