Job Overview:

As an industry leader in the niche print-on-demand (POD) sector, we're seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager with a strategic mindset, robust analytical abilities, and a knack for teamwork. In this capacity, you'll be at the forefront of developing and managing 3P supply chain strategies and all fulfillment-related operations for our principal POD brands, Chip and Fuel POD. Your role will encompass a range of responsibilities including selecting printing vendors, nurturing critical vendor relationships, negotiating key agreements, ensuring consistent supply, and monitoring vendor performance. Your position involves extensive collaboration with teams across Engineering, Product, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain departments.

Additionally, your position entails collaborating with teams spread across multiple time zones, such as the US, Vietnam, and Mexico. Due to the significant presence of our vendor network in the US, there will be occasions where your adaptability and willingness to accommodate US working hours are crucial. Therefore, your skill in navigating international and cross-time zone partnerships is key to ensuring seamless operations and robust communication.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop, implement, and enhance comprehensive supply chain processes.
● Manage Supply Chain Operations, which include conducting quarterly and annual volume forecasts for each vendor, overseeing invoice reconciliation, and supervising performance of printing and shipping vendors (DHL)
● On a daily and weekly basis, perform comprehensive assessments of vendors, concentrating on their performance (SLAs), capabilities, costs, and various quality metrics (defect rates, service standards, etc.). Employ data-driven analysis to foster enhancements and sustain advantageous relationships.
● Participate in strategic coaching sessions with vendors, establish specific improvement goals, and convert feedback from various departments into practical insights for use in bi-weekly or regular vendor meetings.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to grasp the requirements of products and services, then transform these needs into concrete actions, these initiatives may include introducing new products or additional variants, renegotiating pricing, and selecting packing materials, among others, for collaboration with 3P vendors
● Manage cost objectives, stock availability, and supply risk assessments and devise mitigation strategies.
● Negotiate and secure new vendor contracts, ensuring favorable terms and pricing.
● Lead nuanced pricing negotiations to quickly expand product offerings while ensuring profitability.
● Collaborate with the engineering team to streamline the integration and testing of new products or product variants, ensuring a smooth transition and onboarding of new vendors or items into the internal fulfillment system.
● Guide and develop a team of data analysts and fulfillment/supply chain associates, ensuring their professional growth while efficiently assigning tasks and responsibilities within your team.
● Regularly present detailed performance reports to inform leadership decision-making.
● Prepare strategic partnership reports for high-level meetings with vendor leaderships.
