• Develop a regular training plan for new and existing employees. Propose supplementary training programs. Design flexible training courses that combine theory with hands-on practice in the training room (On-the-job training – OJT). Provide one-on-one mentoring to correct operational errors promptly. Evaluate training quality and assess employee skills after training.
• Implement Orientation program for Housekeeping staff. Combine integration training (Onboarding), instructing new employees on rules, grooming standards, service attitude and service culture. Soft skills training: communication, teamwork, situation handling and customer care.
• Direct training in theory and practice on standard room cleaning procedures, public area cleaning procedures, Lost & Found procedures, service and communication standards with guests, procedures for using cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools.
• Emphasize in-depth training in professional skills on housekeeping procedures, bed-making procedures, and bathroom cleaning according to standards and within the prescribed time period. How to use and preserve cleaning chemicals safely and in the correct mixing ratio. Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in the room department. Instructions on cleaning techniques for public areas, operating machines to support public areas safely, and handling laundry with chemicals according to proper procedures.
• Safety training includes compliance with occupational safety regulations, proper work posture to avoid unwanted injuries, fire safety, and customer information confidentiality.
• Draft and update SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), training materials, checklists, instructional videos (if any), and post-training assessment questionnaires. Recommend updates to SOPs and operating standards when gaps are identified during training and evaluation.
• Conduct periodic assessments of the knowledge and skills of all staff in the department. Regularly perform unannounced inspections of the quality of rooms and public areas to identify gaps in standards, and then plan retraining accordingly.
• Monitor training effectiveness through inspection results, room quality, guest ratings, and LQA/Audit results. Regularly monitor guest feedback regarding room cleanliness to adjust training content accordingly.
• Monitor staff compliance with SOPs, coordinate with the Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Housekeeping Manager in quality control activities. Regularly report to the department head on the progress and results of staff training and competency assessments, and propose solutions for improving the training program. Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly training reports.
• Collaborate with the HR department in training planning. Participate in the implementation of projects to improve service quality.
• Monitor training completion rates and recommend retraining for employees who do not meet standards. Reward or recognize individuals with outstanding training results.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Manager.

• Graduated from a college, university majoring in Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the Housekeeping Department of a 4- or 5-star hotel.
• Candidates with experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Trainer are preferred.
• Good English communication skills and the ability to read and understand professional documents
