Your Job

The primary purpose of the Operation Manager position is to set management direction for operations and assist the Operation Director in ensuring the plant operation meets goals, quality, and operational requirements.

Our Team

Collaboration: The Operation Manager will work closely with the Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Planning Departments, and maintain contact with vendors, sub-contractors, government authorities, and other Molex plants.

What You Will Do

• Manufacturing:
• Take accountability of workshop’s routine operation and management. Critically monitor and drive operation results.
• Oversee operation metrics to make sure operational excellence with initiatives for zero defects, kaizen, GLSS, production cost saving.
• Execute programs to ensure optimum utilization of available resources, maximizing plant’s revenue/profit in line with business strategies.
• Manufacturing Engineering: Lead ME, Automation and PJM team to continuously improve the product cost structure and standards and optimize the manufacture process.
• Planning Management: Oversee production planning, inventory control, delivery performance, and manage slow/excess material handling.
• Be accountable for human resource of Operation in term of
• Recruitment, retention, dismissal
• Training and career development
• RR&E and performance review
• Compensation & benefits
• Contribute to Molex quality management, Lean 6Sigma, ISO and other management systems. Be steward in PBM culture enhancement within operation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor and management.
  
  
  

Who You Are

• Education: College or University graduate, Degree in Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Experience: Over 10 years in manufacturing management, prior experience in a manufacturing company.
