Managerial/ Supervisory Role

• Lead and supervise the project team according to performance standards and guidelines outlined in Company Procedures and Group Policies.
• Plan, organize and monitor the achievement of goals by subordinates to ensure the Country and Division’s budgets for orders received, sales, expenses and profitability are met.
• Conduct periodic performance appraisals for the staff, provide on-time feedback to improve staff performance.
• Identify the skills and knowledge required by the staff to perform their assigned tasks and provide appropriate training opportunities to acquire these.

Functional Role

• Plan and execute the timely and successful implementation of all projects assigned in a professional manner and ensure that these are within the cost budgets, according to contract requirements, agreed completion times and the fulfilment of the project specifications. This includes ensuring that the work executed by related departments as well as the work of sub-contractors meet the required quality standards.
• Participate in internal handover meetings with sales team and in external kick-off meetings with customers to review and ensure that all project requirements and specifications related to job scope, project schedules, delivery timelines, etc are for smooth execution of project. This includes raising any relevant or critical issues arising from these meetings to the Project Manager for his (her / their) attention and onward communication with overseas principals (if required).
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Installation and Purchasing Departments to fulfil customers' requirements and specifications to ensure smooth execution and timely project completion.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues during project execution and post-execution matters arising out of defects to ensure fulfilment of all contractual obligations and meeting customer satisfaction.
• Maintain good working relationships with all parties at site such as customers, contractors, vendors, etc to ensure smooth workflow and progress during project execution.
• Attend relevant site meetings to be aware of site progress and maintain proper execution documentation/files, etc and meeting minutes to avoid claims for delays and/or extension of time.

• Complete all necessary information related to Project and Installation Department in QMS for all projects to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor the efficient execution of all project execution jobs done by the team based on timeline, quality, and profitability to fulfil customers' requirements and meet company's profitability targets.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and problems, report findings and communicate with principals on technical and service problems to seek solutions and feedback whenever required.
• Check and follow up on warranty claims from customers to fulfil contractual warranty obligations and communicate with principals on technical and service problems when required to jointly find possible solutions and in meeting customer satisfaction.
• Conduct product knowledge training and any on-site training on equipment usage and application to customers as and when required to achieve product familiarisation.
• Follow up with customers and coordinate with Finance and Admin Department to ensure timely invoicing and prompt collection of overdue debts.
• Monitor man-hours, efficiency, human load factor and utilisation captured in SAP against budget so as to ensure proper resource utilisation while maintaining project profitability.
• Review the issuance of installation tools and all relevant Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to project team in accordance to required EHS standards.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by Immediate Supervisor or Manager.
