• Direct everyday activity, plan and assign work to ensure the right staffing numbers
• Develop F&B team and improve their performance through coaching and feedback, as well as create performance and development goals for colleagues
• Daily training to F&B team ensure that they deliver with compliance as per standards
• Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive - linking up departments to create sense of one team
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
• Recommend or initiate any HR related actions where needed

FINANCIAL:

• In charge of F&B annual budget and setting departmental goals
• Monitor annual budget and control expenses with a focus on food, beverage, and labour costs
• Cooperate with Sales Dept., to identify additional sales opportunities to enhance revenue
• Drive promotions that deliver great dining experiences for guests at a good value
• Make sure credit and financial transactions are handled securely

GUEST EXPERIENCE:

• Make sure all food and beverage equipment is in operational condition and regularly cleaned
• Make sure all food and beverage facilities including banquet/convention spaces are clean and properly stocked to anticipated business volume. Notify engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs
• Establish and achieve quality and guest satisfaction goals. Maintain the good relationship/ communication with guests to handle any requests and complaints – to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction
• Analyse guest insights to identify and meet customer expectations and build on guest loyalty

BUSINESS:

• Manage hotel food and beverage marketing programs and promotions
• Keep an eye on competitor activity / industry innovation. Review and approve menu design and concepts with the Executive Chef
• Make sure food and drinks are secure and stored safely - always keep stock replenished to minimize waste
• Handle food and beverage inventory procedures. Determine minimum and maximum stocks for all food, beverage, material, and equipment
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by General Manager
• May also serve as manager on duty

• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Major: Hotel Tourism Management
• Career/Experience: More than 05 years working in F&B
• Credentials: Tourist Employee Certificate (Accommodation Employee, Hotel Manager, Hotel General Manager), Sommelier Certificate
• Language Abilities: English (Working Knowledge)
• Fluently English skills
• Networking skills with major customers including VIPs.
• Good communication, training and reporting skills
• Understanding and knowledge of accounting and financial statements
• Ability to create policies and make plans to meet F&B sales target.
• Knowledge of hotel and restaurant operation related laws, etc.
• Understanding of, and proficiency in, equipment and fixtures used in the operation of a restaurant.
• Good computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel etc.
