A. Purpose of Job

HR Executive (L&D Specialist) plays a vital role in maintaining seamless HR operations while driving the growth of our team. This position balances core HR functions—such as Talent Acquisition and Operations—with a dedicated focus on Learning & Development (L&D) to enhance service standards and employee engagement within the hotel.

B. Key Responsibilities

1. Learning & Development (Focus)

• Training Needs Analysis: Collaborate with the HRM and Heads of Department (HODs) to identify skill gaps and training needs.
• Program Delivery: Conduct New Hire Orientation, service culture workshops, and soft skills training.
• Resource Development: Create and update training materials, manuals, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Tracking & Evaluation: Maintain training records, monitor training hours, and evaluate the effectiveness of programs through post-training assessments.

• Employer Branding: Design and manage creative job postings across social media, job boards, and professional networks.
• Sourcing & Screening: Proactively source candidates, screen resumes, and conduct initial interviews to ensure a high-quality talent pool.
• Hiring Consultancy: Advise Hiring Managers on recruitment trends, candidate suitability, and selection criteria.
• Onboarding Excellence: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including offer negotiations, contract preparation, and coordinating with departments for a warm welcome.
• Reporting: Manage the recruitment budget and provide weekly/monthly analytic reports on hiring efficiency.

3. HR Operations & Employee Relations

• Time & Attendance: Monitor attendance records and prepare monthly reports for payroll processing.
• Payroll Support: Assist in calculating overtime, bonuses, and ensuring all payroll-related documentation is accurate.
• Insurance & Benefits: Administer mandatory and private healthcare insurance schemes; assist employees with claim procedures.
• Performance Management: Facilitate the performance review cycle, supporting HODs in conducting fair and timely evaluations.
• Employee Engagement: Lead internal activities such as staff parties, birthday celebrations, and team-building events.
• Labor Law Compliance: Stay updated on local government regulations and HR trends to propose improvements to company policies.
• Strategic Support: Assist the HRM in workforce planning and building long-term HR strategies.

I. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

II. Experience

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in HR Field

• Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred.

III. Skills

• L&D Skills: Proven ability to present, facilitate training sessions, and inspire adult learners.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

• High level of integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, and a "can-do" service attitude.
