PURPOSE OF THE JOB

• Organize and supervise all activities in Raw Material QC (RMQC) section
• Ensuring incoming material quality inspections are carried out according to Triumph Quality Management System, and as customer requirement for private labels orders
• Ensuring material issuance to Production are with right quality, and to be issued at right time.
• Lead RMQC Team (20 people) to accomplish quality control operational targets, in meeting production scheduling according to production plans
• Ensuring lab environment and equipments are in correct condition according to Triumph standard at all time

GENERAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and assigning day-to-day activities in RMQC team
• Follow up all inspections, testing of material: chemical tests, physical tests, visual color matching, and respective inspection procedures are being carried out according to standard procedures
• Follow up daily issuing printing picking list in time.
• Follow up the urgent testing list has been provided by Purchasing
• Prepare and provide daily QC checking report status and submit to Hongkong/Europe Office
• Raise the material quality problems to HK-CQA for final decision of reject, commercial acceptance
• Raise the failure inspection results to Quality Manager for decision
• Raise claim (Non-conformance report –NCR) to Purchasing to communicate with supplier for necessary actions
• Communication with Purchasing, RMWH, Cutting and Sewing on quality issues
• Solving daily problem of material after inspection
• Follow daily material problems have been raised by Production
• Continuously ensuring quality of material and sewing accessories are being inspected and controlled in compliance to material quality requirement
• Communicate and follow up with Hongkong & Europe Office on Raw Material Specification (RMS), Master Samples, Color Standard request
• Communication with supplier for material quality complaint and supplies improvement
• Prepare samples to quality partners in VN for testing and follow up the test results from them
• Training, developing, and cross training the junior team members to enhance departmental capabilities
• Other tasks assigned by QA Manager
