Your Impact

As a Product Manager, you will lead digital product development and transformation initiatives, turning strategic visions into impactful solutions while managing agile teams and client collaborations.

This role provides opportunities to solve complex challenges, work with global experts, and grow as a leader in product innovation and technology.

In this role, you will lead the development and transformation of digital products. You’ll shape product visions, define strategies, and guide agile teams to execute on client goals. Your work will include solving diverse challenges, such as process reinvention at financial institutions, big data analytics for retail, and consumer-facing app development. Acting as a bridge between business strategy, clients, and vendors, you’ll translate abstract ideas into actionable plans while ensuring efficiency and collaboration.

Your work will solve critical business problems and drive innovation. By leveraging your product management expertise, you’ll create impactful solutions, developing agile deliverables such as wireframes, user stories, and KPIs. Collaborating with McKinsey’s global network of experts, you’ll bring cutting-edge insights to every project, helping clients achieve their strategic vision and create transformative digital solutions.

You will join McKinsey Digital, based in Ho Chi Minh City, as part of a global team helping clients transform their businesses through digital technology. This team combines McKinsey’s expertise in strategy, design, and technology to tackle complex challenges across industries. You’ll work on projects ranging from IT modernization and agile transformations to cloud, cybersecurity, and digital product development, delivering innovative solutions that drive meaningful impact.

Your Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or equivalent degree
• 5-7+ years of experience leading Agile projects as a product owner and as a scrum master
• Experience leading product and/or cross functional teams; experience as both a team member and coach in the agile product owner roles
• Experience building consumer quality products, enabling business capability and objectives through technology
• Strong product instinct to build great product vision, product roadmap and competitive analysis
• Knowledge and understanding of AI landscape, basic concepts and preferably experience in building AI products. Knowledge and understanding of technical engineering best practices (e.g., test driven development, continuous integration, etc.)
• Excellent knowledge on tracking and analytics setup. Excellent analytical skills and data driven approach to constantly analyze user feedback and analytics report
• Proficient with drawing storyboards, creating wireframes, creating/ ‘grooming’ product backlogs, writing user stories and developing acceptance criteria
• Excellent project management skills; ability to plan 2-3 steps ahead of the team and surface hidden risks 2-3 levels deep within the team. Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage client expectations; ability to work at an abstract level and continuously pivot to arrive at the highest impact answer for the client.
• Ability to influence senior client business and IT executives on transforming towards agile; ability to move between strategic discussions with senior client leaders to tackle agile coaching with teams on the ground. Skills to prioritize and align with business and IT stakeholders to ensure highest value capture
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and local office language(s), with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels.
