As the Chief Accountant in a dynamic digital agency, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the agency's financial operations. Your role is crucial in providing financial insights, maintaining financial records, and implementing effective accounting procedures to support the agency's growth and success.

* Responsibilities:
a. Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
Provide financial analysis and insights to the management team to aid in decision-making and strategic planning.

b. Budgeting and Forecasting:
Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets for projects and overall agency operations.
Prepare financial forecasts and identify potential risks and opportunities to achieve financial objectives.

c. Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing and collections.
Monitor cash flow and take necessary actions to optimize working capital.

d. General Ledger and Journal Entries:
Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
Review journal entries and financial records for completeness and accuracy.

e. Tax Compliance:
Ensure the agency's compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax filings.

f. Financial Controls:
Establish and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Conduct regular internal audits to identify and mitigate financial risks.

g. Payroll Management:
Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely payments to employees.
Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and reporting.

h. Financial Software and Tools:
Stay updated with the latest accounting software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Implement and manage accounting software as required.

i. Team Management:
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth.

j. Compliance and Regulations:
Keep abreast of accounting standards, legal regulations, and industry best practices.
Implement changes to accounting practices to comply with new regulations or requirements.
