JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide advice and work with the Chief Accountant of subsidiaries to scientifically and efficiently build and organize the accounting department, assign tasks to each employee in the department, and guide them in performing their duties.

2. Support the Board of Directors and Chief Accountant in building, organizing, and standardizing the accounting system, including establishing procedures, regulations, and rules related to financial accounting. Improve related processes and documents, and organize the implementation, monitoring, and control to ensure accurate and timely management of each item in the balance sheet:

• Account Receivables Policy.
• Purchasing and Payment Policy.
• Advance Policy, propose solutions to handle risk related to advance documents (if any) in accordance to current accounting and tax regulations.
• Control and manage company’s assets/inventory. Coordinate with business unit to conduct regular asset inventory to prevent asset losses.

3. Organize the implementation, monitoring, and control to ensure accurate, complete, and timely preparation and establishment of all individual and consolidated financial reports according to accounting standards, company policies, and current tax regulations:

• Timely, complete, accurate, legal, and procedural accounting of economic transactions, in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Implement and supervise the process of auditing financial statements at the Group level. Coordinate with the Chief Accountants of member units in controlling the progress of financial statements audited by subsidiaries, to ensure the progress and quality of annual financial statement audits
• Control financial reports to provide data as required by the company's management for various departments.
• Have knowledge and experience in implementing international accounting standards (IFRS)

4. Together with the chief accountant and the tax manager, responsible for tax reporting control activities. Based on the actual situation of tax regulations as well as related changes of the tax authority at each time to propose solutions to help control tax risks, as well as ensure harmony to support business development.

5. Coordinate and support the Finance & Operations department and related departments in providing accounting data, analyzing financial reports to understand cost fluctuations, debts, etc., in order to timely propose solutions to control costs according to the planned objectives

6. Manage and evaluate the capacity of accounting department employees, support the HR department in recruiting personnel. Advise the Chief Accountant and the Board of Directors in planning and implementing training, development, and improving the qualifications of the accounting staff within the company

7. Perform transactions with banks and other relevant partners within the scope of the accounting department's work and other assigned tasks by the leadership

QUALIFICATIONS

• Specialization: Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Banking, or related fields. Preference given to candidates with ACCA/CPA/CMA/CIMA certifications, Master's degree in a related field, and practical knowledge and experience in applying IFRS
• Legal Knowledge: Tax Law, Accounting Law, Commercial Law
• Language: Proficient in English with all 4 skills.
• Computer skills: Proficient in office computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio...), good use of accounting software.
• Soft skills: Communication skills, presentation skills, public speaking skills, persuasion skills.
• Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a mid-level or senior leadership position in the accounting department, such as Chief Accountant or equivalent management positions. Preference given to candidates with experience in service industries, retail, e-commerce.
• Professional Competence: Proficient in accounting for various types of economic transactions, including preparation of consolidated financial statements. Thorough understanding of tax regulations, financial regulations, and other relevant policies.
• General Competence: Leadership ability, problem-solving skills, good task management. Proficient in data analysis and synthesis. Knowledge of managerial accounting, risk management, and independent auditing.
• Personal qualities: Ability to handle pressure, honesty, attentiveness, meticulousness in working with numbers. Proactive in work.
